Cole Matthews is a serious troublemaker in major trouble. After severely injuring Peter Driscal, he has the option of going to jail or an alternative punishment. He chooses Circle Justice, a one-year banishment to an isolated Alaskan island based on Native American healing for the criminal mind. Cole is pushed to his limits to survive, both physically and mentally. He is mauled by a great white bear and left for dead.
